“I have the body of a man half my age.
Unfortunately, he is terrible shape.”
I am still committed to the belief that fat release is not focused around food or exercise. Fat release should be focused on addressing fear and releasing the resistance to moving forward. Exercise is the physical expression of the “moving forward” concept. Although I gear this article toward those on a weight release journey, exercise is needed by everyone on a daily basis.
Weight release is about measuring your worth, not your girth, in addition to the importance of self worth by getting and staying motivated. The “zone,” is that mental state of being excited about your journey and where you are heading. When you are in the “zone,” you will exercise with more enthusiasm and be more likely to successfully stick to a lifestyle where your payoff is a positive experience. The “zone,” or being motivated, is triggered by understanding self, by appreciating who you are, by caring about who you are, and holding the belief that you will succeed! Creative visualization and manifesting are imperative to being in the “zone.”
Fat is gained when the energy you take in exceeds the energy you put out. Exercise is not a punishment because you eat too much. Exercise is a commitment to being healthy. More importantly, exercise is YOUR time and your time alone to dream, manifest, and attract to you all that you desire. It doesn’t matter whether you release twenty pounds or you release two, or you don’t release any. It’s more important that you build muscle mass and become stronger spiritually and psychologically, as well as physically.
My personal journey with exercise started with my looking into a mirror and crying, “I cannot do this, I will not do this.” I could barely do a sit-up. I hated them. I did the best I could at that time, and then the next day, I did a little more. I started walking and working out, doing a little everyday. To be honest, initially, my showers lasted longer than my exercise time, but it was MY time, my hour for me. I told myself everyday, “It is safe for me to move forward,” as I exercised, ate my apple, and drank my water throughout the day. Each day I went a little further and within a few months, I worked up to three miles. After reaching three miles, I began to work on my time rather than distance. I walked three miles, just a second or two faster each time, until I was satisfied by keeping myself challenged.
It took about six weeks for me to shift from “talking myself into exercising” to looking forward to it and making it a priority. As with affirmation work, it takes about thirty days to make or break a habit. Getting yourself into an exercise regime is a habit.
Theme songs and creative positive visualizations are the keys to keep us moving forward. It is interesting while I continue my journey how my theme songs shift, as my dreams and goals shift. I no longer view my exercise as a chore, and I invite you to do the same.
Exercise time is manifesting time:
It is dream time,
It is your time.
It is your time to co-create with the universe.
It is your time to be who you contracted to be on this earth.
You can walk and manifest. Take the images you have on your “vision board” and find theme songs to match your joy and your dreams. The songs add to the emotions and magnify your visions and your goals, even more. I refer to them as “affirmations in motion.”
Fat is a messenger. Looking at where you are having fat issues is really about the different “message” areas of your body. Really examine your body and understand how to answer those messages. Your body is communicating certain messages to you based on where you carry your fat issues.
Guess what? It is a two-way street, you can tell your body a thing or two as well! Many of us do not want to “work” or stimulate a depleted energy center. For example, my self worth was in the toilet, and I hated sit-ups! Well, that area is all about self-worth, so it makes sense I did not want to address it, let alone “build it up.”
We often avoid exercise for the area that needs the most attention because it is the tissue issue that needs the attention. Many of us hate sit-ups or crunches. I guarantee that these same individuals have depletion in their solar plexus, or third energy center. This represents a sense of self. Perhaps they are also learning from diabetes. Interestingly, they may not like the color yellow either because that is the color of our solar plexus “self” center.
Believe it or not, exercise for the solar plexus area will create energy “deposits” by stimulating that energy center. Add a corresponding affirmation such as “I am appreciated and loved” as you do your sit-ups or crunches. You are now creating a healing environment, but also manifesting at the same time! That is why I refer to exercise as “manifesting” rather than exercise. I am shifting my payoff from a punishment consciousness to a reward consciousness.
I am not an exercise expert. I suggest you consult your physician before beginning any exercise regime. You may wish to join a class or perhaps eventually join a gym. You also may follow along with exercises on commercial video programs. Remember to be gentle with yourself. Start slowly, then build on your small successes. The key is to start something. Ask for guidance and you may be surprised that a friend calls out of the blue, or the special offer happens to cross your desk for a video or gym membership. Ask the universe for help and it will be provided.
Deep breathing grounds you, so it is important to take a deep breath before you begin your manifesting (exercises) and say silently to yourself, “as above, so below.” Exercise is an excellent grounding tool! You will find that the more you exercise, the more centered and grounded you will be. Also, when you are grounded, there is less likelihood of an injury. Injury when beginning exercise is self sabotage to stop you from moving forward. Again, your body is asking you, “are you sure you want to do this?” Many answers can be found by looking at where and what on your body is injured.
As you focus on how good you feel, you will eventually find yourself enjoying and actually looking forward to your time with self. That moment is the shift in consciousness. Celebrate that shift and remind yourself: it is safe to move forward! I hope this article helps you with your exercise issues.
