In general, people know how to live healthy and balanced. They know what they SHOULD eat and what not. However, there is so much info on diets available to everyone, that most people get lost in the jungle of "what to eat". I'm going to help you by bringing you back to the basics.
It comes down to the balance
As already mentioned, you probably know what is healthy and what not. Some "gurus" that advocate their systems even tell you about "evil groups"! However, you need a bit of everything – vitamins, carbs, fat and so on.
The usual food
I think you agree with me that fresh fruit, vegetables, whole grain pasta, whole grain bread and rice are what most people are going to eat to lose their weight.
Do not forget the liquid!
Besides the right food, you should never ever underestimate the power of water. It makes you feel less hungry, it makes you feel fresher and it makes you feel healthier.
A little bit unorthodox!
Now onto the things that are often forgotten. Fish is VERY good for you. And do not forget to eat seeds, nuts and such.
Do not forget to exercise …
Everyone will now go "Oh nooo!", But i can assure you that you can workout without even working out. For example – do not use elevators, but the stairs. Use your bicycle to go shopping instead of the car. Instead of sitting somewhere around in your breaks, go outside and take a walk! This way you use your muscles without falling in the "workout-mindset".
